These are basically wraps that can be filled with anything of your choice. Crepes can be savoury, carrying a mixture of meat or vegetables or they can be sweet, with a stuffing of chocolate or even honey, dates or grated coconut and sugar. Crepes are made by spreading a mixture of flour, eggs and milk on a hot griddle. When the thin cake is golden brown on one side, the filling is put in and both the sides of the cake are folded in, to form a neat envelope. Crepes, also called pancakes, must be served warm, either alone or with ice-cream.
