Eligibility: (Pre-requisites) | The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 exam with science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and English subjects and obtained minimum 50% in PCB or PCM. This is a 4 year program spread over 12 trimesters, leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. The program is tailor made to train the students to play an important role in community pharmacy and assist the pharma industry at various levels. The course is predominantly based on practice and interaction with a strong focus on the healthcare system. This will enable students to practice pharmacy profession in a strong, skillful and determined manner.

DURATION
The course for B. Pharm shall extend over four years consisting of three trimesters each year, along with inbuilt industrial/ community pharmacy/ hospital training.

ATTENDANCE
A student is expected to attend all classes. However, a student must put in 80% of total attendance for each subject, in the absence of which he/she will not be eligible to write the exam for that subject. A student is required to monitor his/ her own attendance and no separate notice will be displayed.
In case of genuine medical/ professional/ other reasons resulting in shortage of attendance, the student is encouraged to attend classes the following year as per the rules of re-registration and re-examination of the University. Absence beyond 20% will not be condoned for any reason whatsoever.

Students will be admitted for B. Pharm, if they meet the required standards of the three-stage selection process as described below:-
STAGE I:
Those short listed and have applied for the subsequent selection process, will have to appear for Personal Interview at NMIMS, Mumbai.
STAGE II:
Counseling is based on the performance in Stage 1 and Stage 2 and on the candidates’ 12th standard PCM/PCB marks. A composite merit list will be drawn as per criteria laid down by the Institute. Candidates will be called for counseling session based on the above merit list. In the counseling session, candidates can opt merit wise for the program either at Mumbai or Shirpur campus depending on the availability of seats.
Merit list of successful candidates for Stage III will be displayed on the NMIMS website and on the Institute’s Notice Board

What is the eligibility criterion for M. Pharm (Pharm. Anal.) – Full Time course?Candidate must have passed B.Pharm examination with 55% of marks from any of the recognized university. Industry sponsored candidate would be preferred. GPAT qualified candidates will be given additional weightage of 10 marks, in the final merit list.

Duration of course for M. Pharm (Pharm. Anal.) – Full Time is two years. -
What is the process for cancellation of admission?
The candidate should submit a written request for cancellation of admission and submit it to Deputy Registrar (Admissions) along with original fee receipt. The fees refund will be as per the norms laid down by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), from time to time. -
Which official statutory bodies have approved these courses?It is not a pre - requisite for an institution notified as a Deemed to be University’ to obtain the approval of the AICTE, to start any program in technical or management education leading to an award, including degrees in disciplines covered under the AICTE Act, 1987. However, institutions notified as Deemed to be University’ are required to ensure the maintenance of the minimum standards prescribed by the AICTE for various courses that come under the jurisdiction of the said Council. It is expected that the institutions notified as ‘Deemed to be University’ maintain their standards of education higher than the minimum prescribed by the AICTE.

Yes we do have Hostel facility as mentioned belowHostel facility in Mumbai
Hostel for Girls: NMIMS has a well furnished hostel for girls (limited seats) by the name of MKM Sanghavi Girls’ Hostel, which is located close to the University. Along with this a few residential flats are also available for accommodation.
Hostel for Boys: Limited seats are available at G. R. Jani Boys Hostels, which is 1/2 km away from the NMIMS campus. In addition to this, few residential flats are also available for accommodation.Hostel facility in Shirpur
Being a residential campus, the hostel at our campus is well furnished and fully equipped with all the necessary requirements for students.
