The BA (Hons) Business Economics provides a strong foundation in economic theories and principles but with a particular focus on examining their relevance to business and managerial situations. Students will be asked to analyse the international economic environment and to assess the impact of external factors on micro and macroeconomic performance and public policy. This programme allows students to study economics whilst leaving more space in the curriculum for Business Studies.

This degree scheme aims to develop students' knowledge, understanding and ability to apply techniques in the area of economics specifically to problems in the business sector.
Students should be able to understand a wide range of theoretical debates in economics and business, analyse economic problems and evaluate the implications for economic policy and business planning & strategy. The degree scheme is distinctive in that students have access to a wide choice of specialist courses, ranging across advanced Microeconomic and Macroeconomic theory, advanced quantitative methods and International Economics.

The fee indicated above is the tuition fee at the GDGWI, besides this each student has to make a direct payment of UK Pound 700 a year as registration fee to lancaster University against an invoice issued in the name of the student by Lancaster University. This amount will be paid in British Pound at the time of registration through an authorized bank

A one-time interest free refundable security deposit of Rs. 50,000 has to be made at the time of admission. This is refundable after the completion of the programme or when the student leaves the programme for any reason after adjustment of all pending dues and damages if any.
Students opting to take Hostel accommodation will be required to choose between 4 seater rooms [ Rs. 1,98,000 (for boys) or Rs. 1,75,000 (for girls) per annum] and 2 seater rooms [Rs. 2,50,000 (for boys) or Rs. 2,00,000 (for girls) per annum]. This will include furniture & fixtures, safety & security, food, internet, TV, refrigerator, electricity, hot water, use of the facilities except laundry services and the activities that require membership. Membership of Fitness Center is open to all students (charge will be extra).
Transport Service may be available from Sushant Lok Metro Station, Gurgaon for all Delhi Students. Transport facility will be available for Gurgaon/Faridabad depending on adequate no. of students.
Fees once paid are non-refundable. (Exceptions are made only in case of students who have got provisional admission but fail to satisfy the conditions for admission after the results are declared)
