Eligibility: (Pre-requisites) | Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy : Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidate in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Union Territory administration as the case may be from time to time. Eligibility Certificate (OMS*) Candidates, who have not passed their 10+2 examination from the HSC Board of Maharashtra, need to produce the certificate and the Mark sheet of the examination given by them, which is equivalent to the HSC board of Maharashtra state. The required eligibility certificate will have to be obtained from the prescribed authority. |

Programme Duration
The duration of the course is of 2 years with each academic year spread over not less than 180 working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.

Price Notes: The yearly fees for Diploma course in Pharmacy will be prescribed by the Shikshan Shulk Samiti (SSS) and Director of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra. The students will have to pay the difference in the fees paid at the time of admission and that announced/fixed by the SSS even at a later date. The refund of fees shall be as per the direction of the Government. |

The MET Institute of Pharmacy was established in the year 1993 with the two-year Diploma programme in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education. The four-year Bachelor's programme in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) affiliated to the Mumbai University was started in the year 1994. B.Pharm is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). M.Pharm.Sc. in Quality Assurance was added in the year 2011. The MET IOP is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
