A minimum of 60% marks in class 12th examination or equivalent national or international exam board. Students with 50-59% marks will be considered on a case by case basis depending on their performance in the entrance exam and personal interview.

This three-year full-time degree offers wide-ranging choices to enable you to customise your degree. In your first year you choose which key management areas you would like to study - one of them will continue through your degree; the other specialism(s) can start in your second year. You also select many additional courses from a very wide range of options and could become a management generalist or could specialise much further in a particular area. Running through the degree are the focused, core modules which offer a fascinating overview of business studies, enhance your shared sense of programme identity, but leave plenty of space for choice. These include courses in business strategy, leadership and ethics. You work in teams and groups through programme-specific away days, business games and the presentation of practical projects. We integrate your developing thinking about your career into the programme design itself. We provide a friendly international learning environment and our Business Studies graduates work for many nationally and internationally recognised firms.

The institute places very high importance on career plans of graduating students and thus has a fully functional training and placement division. Educational Aims: Knowledge, Understanding and Skills
The Business Studies degree scheme is a 3-year programme, which provides coverage of all business and management disciplines. The overall aim of the programme is to provide students with a thorough grounding in theoretical and practical aspects of business and related courses. The distinguishing feature of the Business Studies scheme at Lancaster is its flexibility in terms of course selection/areas of specialisation.

The programme is structured to expose students to a variety of courses in the Management School and to allow students to specialise in courses from two departments in the School. The scheme provides a wide variety of options corresponding to different career choices with high expected returns in terms of professional and vocational relevance.

  • To provide students with a solid theoretical and practical knowledge of business organizations

  • To develop students' critical analysis of and reflection upon business issues and their ability to analyse business phenomena effectively and efficiently

  • To develop students' adaptability and flexibility of approach and the ability to initiate and respond positively and appropriately to change

  • To prepare students for a career in business or business-related fields and develop their capability to contribute to society at large

  • To enhance students' lifelong learning skills, communication skills and personal development

Learning Outcomes:

Knowledge, Understanding and Skills
The Business Studies programme mainly consists of courses drawn from the various departments in the Lancaster University. During the three-year programme, students are expected to have covered all the main functional areas of business and management to at least an introductory level. Students are also expected to take optional courses with a more specialist understanding of subjects from two Management School departments.

The fee indicated above is the tuition fee at the GDGWI, besides this each student has to make a direct payment of UK Pound 700 a year as registration fee to lancaster University against an invoice issued in the name of the student by Lancaster University. This amount will be paid in British Pound at the time of registration through an authorized bank

A one-time interest free refundable security deposit of Rs. 50,000 has to be made at the time of admission. This is refundable after the completion of the programme or when the student leaves the programme for any reason after adjustment of all pending dues and damages if any.

Students opting to take Hostel accommodation will be required to choose between 4 seater rooms [ Rs. 1,98,000 (for boys) or Rs. 1,75,000 (for girls) per annum] and 2 seater rooms [Rs. 2,50,000 (for boys) or Rs. 2,00,000 (for girls) per annum]. This will include furniture & fixtures, safety & security, food, internet, TV, refrigerator, electricity, hot water, use of the facilities except laundry services and the activities that require membership. Membership of Fitness Center is open to all students (charge will be extra).

Transport Service may be available from Sushant Lok Metro Station, Gurgaon for all Delhi Students. Transport facility will be available for Gurgaon/Faridabad depending on adequate no. of students.

Fees once paid are non-refundable. (Exceptions are made only in case of students who have got provisional admission but fail to satisfy the conditions for admission after the results are declared)
