The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got a Zumba® class! In the past years, the Zumba® program has become nothing short of a revolution, spreading like wildfire, and positioning itself as the single most influential movement in the industry of fitness.

As of July 2009, the Zumba® program is being taught at over 50,000 locations in 75 countries, has sold millions of DVDs, and has changed the lives of Zumba® Fanatics worldwide with an astonishing six million participants taking Zumba classes every week.

Zumba sessions are typically about an hour long and are taught by licensed instructors. The exercises include music with fast and slow rhythms, as well as resistance training. The music comes from the following dance styles:

cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, flamenco, chachacha, reggaeton,soca, samba, belly dancing, bhangra, hip hop music, axé music and tango.

About Vijaya

I am a passionate Dancer , Started dancing from age 3.

Iam trained in Indian Classical dances which are Kuchipudi, Bharatnatyam, Kathak and Odissi. Also tried my hand at Hiphop, contemporary dance.

Now settled with Salsa and few other Latin dance forms.

Discovered Zumba a little while back and I am completely in love with it. So Now choose to be a Zumba fitness Instructor rand am a registered zumba instructor.

Here classes are for 1 hour each, and no two classes are ever the same! Every class deals with different elements of fitness through Yoga (cardio, strength, flexibility & balance). Different body-parts are trained in each class, and the asanas vary so that the entire experience is never monotonous! The classes are result-oriented and help you get in shape externally and be in tune with your inner self.

About Pratibha   
Pratibha Agarwal is a certified power yoga teacher practicing yoga since a very early age. She is recognized as one of India’s few Registered yoga teachers by yoga alliance U.S.A.
   
Having been trained under masters from U.S and India with a long and in depth association with yoga, she has been able to incorporate a lot of variety in her classes keeping the essence of yoga, an aspect that her students look forward to.
   
Pratibha has successfully conducted various yoga classes and workshops in various parts of the country.
   
Her professional achievements in yoga are:

  • Yoga Instructor Course (YIC) and (PGDYT) from Svasya, Bangalore.
