This is an advanced and comprehensive training course, which trains students to teach Yoga to all age groups, as well as in the management of various diseases. This course is a full time residential course at The Yoga Institute.
The course syllabus covers Yoga Sutra, Asanas, Pranayamas, Kriyas, Bhavas, attitude training, counselling, public speaking, methodology of teaching, practice teaching, essential Anatomy & Physiology and Samkhya Philosophy, etc.
In addition, students are expected to volunteer for all the Health Camps, 7 Days Camp, Special Classes, the Sunday Satsang and teach in the 21 Days Better Living Course.
On completion of full attendance and all other pre-requisites, an examination shall be conducted at the end of the course after which successful students will be awarded certificates.
Highly trained teachers of The Yoga Institute conduct this course with many guest lecturers.
Prerequisites : Successful completion of 1 Month Teachers' Training Course or the 7 Days Health Camp within 3 months prior to joining the 3 Months' Teachers' Training Course. All lectures will be in English and students are expected to be fluent in speaking reading and writing the language.
Attendance to each session as per the timetable is compulsory.
There will be no holiday except on Sunday from 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
It is expected that an atmosphere of positivity and sincerity be maintained.
Campers are advised to wear loose fitting, comfortable and appropriate clothing such as full-length track pants and T-shirt. Capris, shorts, tank tops, low cut shirts, short and sleeveless T-shirts are not permitted as per the Institute dress code.
Registration & Fees
Registration has to be done 3 months prior for completion of visa formalities and other residential requirements.
The fees are inclusive of books, course material, boarding and lodging and 7 Day Health Camp.
Other Residential Requirements
Arrival at The Yoga Institute should be between 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. IST (Indian Standard Time) so that accommodation can be provided.

The Yoga Institute
The Yoga Institute was founded on 25th December, 1918 by the Founder Shri Yogendraji. It found a permanent base in Santacruz, Mumbai, in 1948. Spread over one acre of land amidst nature, with three buildings dedicated to Yogic activities, this non-profit organization has been running on its own strength for 9 decades now. About 1000 persons visit the Institute every day for training, health benefits and consultations.
