Content : The 21 Days Better Living Course is a course to begin your journey into the discovery of Yoga. It is designed for working professionals who may practice and learn yoga for a little more than an hour and experience the difference in their daily lives.
The course teaches Yogic concepts and their application in day-to-day life. The course covers introduction to Astanga Yoga, Asanas, Pranayamas, Kriyas, attitude training and daily sessions (Parisamvad) with Dr. Jayadeva and Smt. Hansaji.
This is a certificate course and has been successfully conducted for the past 50 years by the Institute. The course is conducted by trained teachers of the Institute and includes special guest lectures.
Duration : The course is held once in every month starting on the first Sunday (9:30am) of every month. The classes are of 1 hr 15 mins each day for 21 consecutive days. There are morning or evening batches.
Timings:
Morning batch (English): Monday to Friday: 7:20 am to 8:35 am
Evening batch (Hindi): Monday to Friday: 6:20 pm to 7:35 pm
Saturdays (Mixed): 7:20 am to 8:35 am
Sundays (Mixed): 9.30 am to 11.15 am
Prerequisites : The course is open to all, no qualification required. However, people with severe health problems are not advised to join this course and may join the specific health camps or the special regular classes.
This is a non-residential course and outstation students will have to make their own arrangements for lodging and boarding.
Attendance for at least 18 days of the course is mandatory, failing which; the participants will not be issued the certificate.

The Yoga Institute
The Yoga Institute was founded on 25th December, 1918 by the Founder Shri Yogendraji. It found a permanent base in Santacruz, Mumbai, in 1948. Spread over one acre of land amidst nature, with three buildings dedicated to Yogic activities, this non-profit organization has been running on its own strength for 9 decades now. About 1000 persons visit the Institute every day for training, health benefits and consultations.
