This is an intensive two year programme for imparting education and training in Cinema with special emphasis on filmmaking, which includes training in all the departments of film making as well as film analysis. This course would equip the students to enter the show business at a higher level than those who may have undergone a craft oriented course on media production.
We at this institute of higher learning believe that a career in films, radio and television is greatly enriched by the sound theoretical knowledge, practical training in relevant craft skills, ability to work in a team and capacity to solve problems faced in the actual working environment. The courseware for these courses has been designed keeping in mind that a well rounded maker of entertainment products has to be knowledgeable, technically competent, talented and above all good human being.
Prospective students with a degree from a recognized Indian or Foreign university and who believe that making of modern day entertainment products is both an art and a science which requires systematic and serious study, are welcome to enroll in this two year dual certification education and training programme leading to a recognized post graduate university degree and a post graduate level diploma in cinema.
