A training of this nature has to be an immersion. It shouldn’t be just an intellectual concept, it should be an experience. To have an experience of yoga is not always easy. Yoga by its very nature is cleansing. In order for this cleansing to occur one needs the strength and balance of mind to explore one’s thoughts, fears and habits and begin to eradicate those which are not beneficial.

Yoga is taught not only as a practice and a theory but as a living and breathing science. Students are taught the fundamentals of Yoga before they learn the teaching methods, modules and styles employed in Yoga. Our system of Yoga allows students to apply their knowledge creatively maintaining their unique teaching style and yet keep the core technique in accordance with the essential principles of Yoga.

Classes, workshops, training sessions, individual guidance and retreats are conducted to help students to imbibe and assimilate Power Yoga and its many components. Our Teacher Training Program covers:

YOGA PRACTICE: Asana, Pranayama, Bandha, Kriya, Shatkarma, Mudra & Meditation
YOGA THEORY: Yogic physiology including a basic understanding of Nadis, Chakras, and the physiological effects of Yogic practices.
TEACHING SKILLS WORKSHOPS AND SOFT SKILLS, INCLUDING VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Exercise & Stretching (Asana)

  • Breathing Exercises (Pranayam)

  • Eliminating energy blockages (Suksham Vyayam)

  • Purification of the body. (Shatkarmas)

  • Increasing strength and flexibility, boosting circulation (Power Yoga)
