MET is pleased to announce the professional programme e-empowered Management and Business Administration in Finance (eMBA-Finance) with dual specialisation in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance. We take pride in stating that we are a pioneering B-School, which offers this unique programme in response to the changes in the financial markets. There is tremendous scope for product development and value added services in the financial sector. Data service, call centre and security services have become the most important aspects of customer services. Banks have already entered the Insurance sector and Insurance companies are promoting banks. The financial services include stock broking, payment gateway, mutual funds, bonds and other instruments of finance with the integration of IT sector. Therefore it has become imperative for the MBA Finance students to specialise themselves in BFSI sector to enlarge the scope of acquiring skills, technical competency and placements.

We at MET put in efforts to cultivate the proper mind-set as the service sector personnel require service orientation to ensure customer delight. Both the sectors i.e. Banking and Insurance are at commanding heights in the Indian economy. The core knowledge of the subject when combined with the holistic Management skills and very sound Finance inputs, would provide a professional par excellence, capable of shouldering responsibilities afforded by key positions in the field of BFSI.

The syllabus is quite exhaustive covering the role of RBI, Investments, Commercial and Cooperative Banking, International Finance, Credit and Debit cards, Risk Management and Reinsurance with the specialised training in the related software programmes as the IT has become the backbone of all the services.

The unique feature of the programme is to prepare the students for practices in Business Ethics and Corporate Governance and higher financial regulations. Candidates applying for this programme will be selected on the basis of:

Category 1
MET - MCT + Group Discussion + Personal Interview + Work Experience & Academics + Psychometric Test

OR

Category 2
CAT Score + Group Discussion + Personal Interview + Work Experience & Academics + Psychometric Test

Note :

1. MET - MCT + GD + PI + Psychometric Test shall be held at the Bhujbal Knowledge Centre, Bandra Reclamation, Bandra (W), Mumbai, India on the date which will be informed to the candidates in advance

2. The weightages for the two categories mentioned above will be as follows:

MET - Management Congruence Test

MET - MCT is specifically designed to assess the suitability of students for various management careers. These tests establish score on emotional balance, extroversion, adaptability, congruence and ethics. There are no right or wrong answers. The candidates are to describe themselves honestly and as accurately as possible.

Note :

1. The Management reserves the right to fix the minimum qualifying marks for each of these components/subcomponents and/or change the components, subcomponents and their weightages.

2. For every wrong answer, marks will be deducted.

3. Students are expected to be dressed in formal attire for the selection process.

Hospital Management: World over there is a growing demand for qualified and skilled healthcare managers. Professional healthcare managers are playing key leadership roles as CEOs, COOs. More so, there is no need for any technical background.

Corporate & Business Law: With the increasing importance of corporate governance and international trade, there is a growing need for managers trained in Corporate & Business law. This new specialisation offers tremendous opportunities for budding managers in the corporate sector.

Travel & Tourism Management: While Travel & Tourism industry is growing rapidly, there is a demand of trained manpower in this industry. We offer a unique opportunity to our students, in collaboration with the industry leaders.
