The candidates shall have passed minimum 10+2 class with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board or university or its equivalent.

OR Three years Engineering Diploma in any branch of Engineering.

OR Any Higher qualification in science. (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics)

Avionics Stream Electrical System (ES), Instrument System (IS) & Radio Navigation System (RN).

Course contents :
The course consist of theoretical & practical training. The theoretical training consist of class-room instructions covering following subjects:

FIRST YEAR SUBJECTS
First Semester

  1.     Civil Aviation Regulation
  2.     Aircraft Material - I
  3.     Workshop Practice - I
  4.     Basic Electrical Engineering
  5.     Human Factors
  6.     Engineering Drawing

Second Semester

  1.     Civil Aviation Requirments
  2.     Workshop Practice-II
  3.     Aircraft Material-II
  4.     Aircraft Maintenance Practices
  5.     Basic Electronics & Computer Fundamentals
  6.     Theory of Flight

SECOND YEAR SUBJECTS
Third Semester

  1.     Aircraft Electrical System - I

  3.     Aircraft Radio, Communication & Navigation System - I
  4.     Civil Aircraft Inspection Procedure - Part I
  5.     Advance Composite Materials

Sixth Semester

    On Job Training:
    In 6th Semester the students shall be attached to D.G.C.A. approved Airlines / Maintenance Organization for 6 months for on job training.

Admission Procedure

  • Applications for admission are made available in the prescribed form along with the prospectus at the institute.
  • Eligible candidates seeking admission to AME course should submit their application form complete in all respect, together with necessary documents, to the institute's office as per the schedule issued by institute, which will be displayed on the institute's notice board.
  • Foreign nationals & NRI candidates seeking admission to the course should submit the necessary security clearance document from Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India through DGCA.
  • Any application, which is incomplete or not accompanied by the prescribed documents, will be liable for rejection.
  • Selection for admission will be strictly on the basis of inter-se-merit of the eligible candidates.
  • The List of Selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board indicating the date of interview. Candidates are requested to see the notice board regularly. Candidates failing to report on scheduled time & date, will lose the claim for admission & the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the merit list. “Letter of Admission” will be issued after the selection by scrutiny of the necessary documents & payment of fees in full.

1. Attested copy of Statement of marks of H.S.C. OR Engg. diploma examination (Original to be submitted at the times of admission)

2. Attested copy of Leaving Certificate issued by the College(Original to be submitted at the time of admission).

3. Attested copy of Transfer Certificate from the last attended institute (Original to be submitted at the time of admission)

4. Four Passport size color Photograph duly signed on back by the candidate.

5. Attested copy of Conduct Certificate (Original to be submitted at the time of admission)

6. Medical certificate for Physical fitness & color Vision from Registered Medical Practitioner.

7. Attested copy of Security Clearance documents from Ministry of Home affair, Govt of India through DGCA for Foreign national& NRI's candidates (Original to be submitted at the time of admission)

The institute is approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (D.G.C.A), Govt. of India, New Delhi, Vide Letter No. Q3 TIAT / 1392 dated 24/03/2006, Q3 TIAT / 5814 dated 21/11/2006, Q3 TIAT / 3629 dated 17/06/2008 under category 'G' Training School, to impart ab-initio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering for obtaining Basic Licence in, Mechanical Stream [Heavy Aeroplane (HA), Light Aeroplane (LA) and Jet Engine (JE)] and Avionics Stream [Electrical System (ES), Instrument System (IS) and Radio Navigation System (RN) ] and Mechanical Stream [Rotary Aircraft Wing (RA), Jet Engine (JE) and Piston Engine (PE)].
