Overview, Content & Syllabus

Objective :

  • Provides quality education with technical know-how related to the field of Journalism

  • Stress is given on the development of creative skills and power of expression in order to attain the competitive edge.

  • The course is a judicious blend of theory and practical skills.

  • Continuous interaction between students and media organization, agencies and media personalities makes the students effective & efficient media professionals.

  • Qualified and experienced subject experts make learning an interesting experience with the use of audio-visual aids.

The program is spread over six semesters. There will be four parts of the course:

  1. Fundamental - Basic understanding of Indian Society, State, National and international affairs.

  2. Theoretical and practical knowledge of subjects related to journalism.

  3. Functional knowledge of computer vis-à-vis Journalism.

  4. Language proficiency.

Course Duration : 1 years full-time, 2 Semesters.
