Thai Cooking Classes in Mumbai

Thai cooking has dishes with a lot of strong aromatic components. Thai food is all about creating a balance amongst 4 distinct flavours – sour, sweet, salty and bitter. Coconut, peanuts, coriander, basil, garlic, lemon grass, galangal, kaffir lime, chillis, etc. are used a lot in Thai food.

In my, Thai cooking classes, I teach the curry pastes from scratch – the Red and Green Curry pastes.

We prepare a very authentic dish from the green curry paste – Rice with green curry paste and Basil. A creamy curry is prepared with the Red curry paste. Satay with paneer or chicken, Tom yum soup, Tom Kha soup, Pad Thai, etc are some of the dishes covered in the Thai menu. I avoid using Fish sauce when conducting the class for vegetarians, but I do try keep the Thai flavours intact by giving them the veg alternative.

All the above classes are 1 day classes and we have very flexible timings. Classes are also conducted on weekends for the convenience of working women. Enjoy learning the art of cooking where all your queries will be answered patiently and you will be more confident with your skills.

We work with small groups so that no one is left unattended. Detailed notes are given for each class. All the dishes prepared are distributed evenly with all the students to take back to their families and share it with them.
