B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering is the profession in which a knowledge of the mathematical and physical sciences gained by study, experiments and practice is applied with judgement to develop ways to utilize economically, the materials and forces of nature for the progressive well being of humanity in creating, improving and protecting the environment in providing facilities for community living, industry and transportation and in providing structures for the use of humanity.

Civil engineers build the world's infrastructures, in doing so they quietly save the history of nation around the world. It is the broadest of the engineering fields as civil engineering focuses on the infrastructure of the world which include water works, sewers, dams, power plants, transmission towers/lines, rail roads, highways, bridges tunnels, airport runways industries building sky scrappers, soils and foundation engineering, coastal and ocean engineering and what not.

The college has build required infrastructure, machineries and workshops for advancement of learning in this most ancient branch of engineering.

* Seat Rent, Mess Charge and Other Amenities are also subject to change but will remain fixed for a two semester period.

time of admission.

# The entire above amount of Rs. 84,100=00 plus fee for Dress Kit with hostel and Rs. 58,600=00 plus

fee for Dress Kit without hostel has to be paid at the time of admission by Demand Draft favouring

“Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur”. on any nationalized Bank payable at Durgapur.

Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, popularly known as BCREC, was set up on 21st August, 2000, under the over all management of Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College Society.
