Who is the Course for?

For students having decided to pursue a specific pathway of education in transport design, the foundation course provides the much needed learning on fundamentals in design with an opportunity to develop a strong portfolio for entrance to design schools in India and across the world such as IED Italy, Coventry University UK and other leading design schools.

Course Introduction

This Foundation in Art & Design allows students to get an insight into various opportunities for further education in creative arts and allows students to progress onto UG degrees in a range of disciplines.

In the first term students explore projects in all fields of creative arts and are introduced to basic principles of art & design and work with students from all disciplines to get an interdisciplinary learning towards design.

In term two, on having experienced various creative streams and analyzed personal abilities and liking towards a specific field within creative arts, students start focusing onto their pathway of specialization. Students build a strong portfolio of work with research upto final works in both 2D &3D thus allowing to apply for degree level course at top Indian and International Universities.

Faculties from some of the world's finest Art & Design Schools visit FAD International for guest lectures and to evaluate portfolios of students for further progression onto their UG Degrees.

Students also have an option to transfer credits to Indian Design Institutes at an undergraduate level.
