An organization comprises men and women. Its success depends on how they perform their respective duties. In order they perform their respective duties efficiently, it is but necessary that they should not only understand their jobs and the process involved but they should also extensively trained in these. So the trainer’s role is critical in the efficiency of the organization and its growth.
It is extremely important that the trainer should be clear in his/ her speech. There should be both clarity in the words spoken and clarity in the meaning of sentences spoken. That the trainer should have all the necessary knowledge of the subject. There is no doubt. But it is even more important for the trainer to possess an expertise of how to effectively transfer knowledge. It is both and art and a science.
While the trainer’s ability to impart knowledge is indeed important, he/she should also ensure complete cooperation of the trainers to achieve the training objectives. In other words, the trainers should be able to engage all the participants in the activities of the training sessions. That is why the training must make the programme targeted to achieve the objective but also very interesting. The attention span of people is limited. Keeping this in view, the trainer needs to create a logical yet innovative sequence of the various activities.
Further, it is necessary for the trainer to maintain his/her enthusiasm. It is this quality of the trainer which makes the event very lively. Infect, enthusiasm is contagious. It spreads and the students participate energetically. The trainer needs to encourage the participants to clarify any doubts and ask questions. And the trainer also needs to be very good listener. Often the questioner is not very clear about his/her question. The trainer needs to help the questioner by reframing the question in simple clear language for the benefit of one and all. In this manner the trainer earns the greatest respect of the participant which is critical for a good tainting programme.
Even when the trainer possesses thorough knowledge of the subject, he/she must review and revise the lecture of the training session keeping in view the participants profile. Knowledge about the audience is extremely helpful to make programme a great success by the trainer.
Last but not the least trainer must be confident but not arrogant, possess a positive attitude but should not be over optimistic and should maintain poise. His/ her body language should evoke respect of the trainees. But the trainer also needs to understand the body language of the trainees throughout the training programme. A good sense of humor enables the trainer to make even the most serious subject study untiring and refreshing.

Nimble Foundation
Nimble Foundation was established for supplementing the educational effort of the higher education – schools and colleges.
