Objective:
The program prepares graduates in the field of management, making them eligible to take up managerial roles worldwide, especially in their specific areas of specialisation. MBA degree is one of the most popularly sought-after qualifications and is generally an essential requirement for high-profile jobs. At Masscomedia, every effort is made to equip our MBA students with the latest knowledge in the field of Business Administration so that their knowledge is at par with the current industry scenario both in India and abroad.
Course content: The entire course is divided into four semesters and covers all management-related subjects like Principles & Practices of Management, Organizational Behaviour, Accounting for Management, Quantitative Techniques, Managerial Economics, Business Environment, HRM, Production & Operation Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Project Evaluation & Implementation, Corporate Legal Environment, Applied Operations Research, and others. Students would have an opportunity to select their Major specialisations in the third semester. Major is decided on the basis of subject chosen for the final project.
The course includes a number of workshops on subjects like Research Methodology, Information Technology, Computers for Management, and MIS. A comprehensive viva-voce is held for every student at the end of each semester. The final viva-voce is held along with the Final Research Project presentation by the student. Lateral entry to the 2nd year of MBA is considered by the Institute on case to case basis.
