Course Content :
Moudule One : Introduction to psychological counselling .
This module focuses on understanding the what, why, do's and dont's and nature of counselling. The second part deals with attributes of a counsellor.
Moudule Two : Counselling Process.
It discusses the underlined processes of how counselling actually works and a generic model of the same is imparted. It will also discuss the nuances of a Counselling Relationship.
Moudule Three: Self Awareness as a Counsellor.
Self awareness as an individual and more importantly as a Counsellor is looked at. It becomes crucial for the Counsellor, the Client and for the Counselling practice to proceed smoothly.
Moudule Four: Introduction to different Counselling approaches.
It explores the various existing approaches and methods of Counselling as well as other contemporary theories.
