St. Angelo’s Goregaon-E center has been approved as Learning Centers by SMU for offering degree programs in BCA. This means that St. Angelo’s becomes a COLLEGE where the students can enroll for 3 yrs degree programs in BCA and B.Sc.-IT).

Ans. The Learning Centres are authorised to provide counselling and tutoring services to SMU-DE students. The Learning Centres have been equipped with infrastructure and facilities as stipulated by the University, to effectively support the learning process under the distance mode. Learning Centres provide students with a platform where each student has a chance to interact with counsellors and other batch mates. Students shall receive personal attention and support at these Learning Centres, including hands-on training at the designated Learning Centres. The Learning Centres will provide counselling and hands on experience for each programme (each semester) as indicated in the respective programme headings.
These Learning Centres will act as the access and contact points between the University and the students.
7) What is the duration of the Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology(PGDIT) courses?
Ans. The PGDIT programme has the minimum duration of 1 year. Student should complete it within 5 years. But if anyone fails to complete the degree within 5 years he/she will be required to re-register for the programme again. A semester system has been adopted by SMU for its academic programmes. In this scheme, an academic year consists two semesters each of 6 months duration.
Thus PGDIT has 2 semesters.

Attach photocopy of requisite qualification and cast certificates (attach attested copies only) to the application form.

Paste the passport size photo on the application form.

Study centre co-ordinator will verify and sign the application form.

The study center has to submit duly filled and verified application forms before the last-date-of-submission at the
university along with relevant documents and the demand draft of the university fees. -
Take the receipt from the study center and preserve it till your admission is confirmed.
