Millions of students graduate each year. These numbers however fail to meet the expectations of employer’s seeking industry-ready candidates.

Over 5 million graduates step out of colleges each year, an impressive number indeed! Yet, about 47% Graduates in India Are Unemployable for any job.

Some staggering facts **:

• Only 16% of graduates were employable in sales and 14% in the customer service / operations sector

• 36% were suitable for employment in clerical and secretarial jobs

• The ITES/BPO reflected 21.4% employability

• IT services employability stood at 13% and IT operations at 16%

• Only a shocking 2% were found to be employable in the Corporate Communication or Content Development segment

• 3% were employable as analysts and a mere 2% in the accounting sphere

• The teaching sector employability was only 15%

These shocking statistics only reiterated our view of the employment market and inspired us to find new ways to fill the void that existed.
