Advance Batch - Certificate Programmes in Dance

This programme will take dancers to am advance level training of different techniques and repertoire. The course will put stress on dancer's physical development of virtuosity and artistry through the mindset of performing every movement as it were a performance. Highly disciplined and motivated dancers will find the joy of movement tested each day to further their range in every aspect. These gifted and talented dancers who are in this group will be challenged through new movement style, choreography and performance in studio and public.

Exercises in basic composition using music, voice and sound to create dynamic individual expression will be explored. The dancers will have this opportunity to create for themselves and with others to begin investigating their individual voice in dance. Experimentation and research of ideas will grow the dancers' unique vocabulary and self-expression. This will be key investment in dance for dancers in their career. Preparation towards the professional programs lay in the foundations of commitment, creative investigation, leadership and being able to work well with others.

The objective of the academy behind running these Certificate Programmes in Dance is that the students must get to learn more comprehensive skills of dancing rather than stressing on any single dance form. This programme offers structured learning in dance, the courses are designed keeping in mind different levels and age groups of students. From beginners to advance, students are introduced to different techniques, dance theories, facial & theatrical expressions, makeup, costume, choreography and stage direction at higher levels.

This programme is only appropriate for dedicated and disciplined students with a real passion to become a great dancer. There is a proper period for covering each level of training the key aspects of danceing craft. Each year of programme has been divided into two sessions to offer flexibility and better engagement among students and faculties.

Certificates are presented to students on yearly basis after annual day concert on the basis of performance during the year and the recommendation of faculty.
