Pre School and Kindergarden - Certificate Programmes in Dance

This programme introduces the children to the world of dancing and promotes early childhood development, proper body awareness and self expression through creative movement. During this 2 years of program children learn to develop coordination, balance, flexibility and rhythm. By the end of, proper posture, body alignment exercises are added, to the students learn to master skips, gallops, marching and waltz steps. Musicality and coordination are emphasised. This programme includes Creative Movement 1 & 2 and covers introductory movement techniques in Jazz Dance, Classical Ballet and Bollywood Dance.

Each class teaches love of learning and celebrates the joys of dance which lasts for a lifetime.

The objective of the academy behind running these Certificate Programmes in Dance is that the students must get to learn more comprehensive skills of dancing rather than stressing on any single dance form. This programme offers structured learning in dance, the courses are designed keeping in mind different levels and age groups of students. From beginners to advance, students are introduced to different techniques, dance theories, facial & theatrical expressions, makeup, costume, choreography and stage direction at higher levels.

This programme is only appropriate for dedicated and disciplined students with a real passion to become a great dancer. There is a proper period for covering each level of training the key aspects of danceing craft. Each year of programme has been divided into two sessions to offer flexibility and better engagement among students and faculties.

Certificates are presented to students on yearly basis after annual day concert on the basis of performance during the year and the recommendation of faculty.
