Eligibility:
(Pre-requisites)

Successful completion of Class XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade. Students expecting their results by July 2013 may also apply for provisional admission.
The admissions at BBA-LLB program will preferably be based on CLAT 2013 / LSAT 2013 merit. Candidates are required to appear in CLAT 2013 / LSAT 2013.
Non CLAT / LSAT candidates will also be considered for admission, subject to the availability of the seats after admitting the CLAT / LSAT candidates. Such candidates are required to appear for a written test followed by personal interview to be conducted by AURO University.

Overview, Content & Syllabus

The School of Law at AURO University offers five year integrated BBA LLB (Hons.) Degree Course spread over ten semesters. The students will be entitled to earn the Degree from AURO University after the successful completion of the program from the University. The School of law shall offer various seminars and workshops as value added initiatives to further the cause of academic excellence in the domain areas of law and allied areas. The School of Law shall have an optimal focus on delivering excellence in the areas of academics, research, consulting, training etc.

The curricula shall be designed, customized and oriented to impart contemporary legal knowledge, acts, legal procedures, apart from integrating the modern technology enabled systems, processes and procedures in the process of imparting an optimal blend of teachings in Indian laws as well as international laws to make sure that our students are globally employable in globalized economies of the globe. The program has been innovatively designed to cater to the growing challenges and complexities of the dynamic legal and business environment of India and abroad.

The pedagogy adopted by the School of law shall be contemporary and advanced keeping in tune with the IVY league universities of the globe with a focus on legal writing, advocacy skills, moot courts, legal research, cases and case analysis, video cases, audio cases, lectures, simulations, case proceedings analysis, judgment analysis, judgment review etc. The program has been innovatively designed and structured to sustain the learning curve of the student simultaneously ensuring that the course content, knowledge and skills about the law and legal procedures are acceptable in various courts in India and abroad with an overall focus on transforming the personality of the students for global employability. The program is progressively dynamic in nature wherein the faculty members shall/may discuss some of the latest developments in the area of law as and when they occur including their impact, implications and ramifications.

The students are likely to leverage the best quality academic and research output from highly committed and dedicated faculty members oriented to deliver contemporary legal education. The students will also be exposed to life skills, soft skills, and various aspects of values, ethics and integrity which are indispensible pre-requisites of success in modern business and legal world. The students will be motivated to excel in the domain area of law after the successful completion of the program.

Auro University Law Entrance Test [AULET]

AURO University Law Entrance Test [AULET] for BBA LLB Program will be of two (2) hours duration and will conducted on 25th May 2014 from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm. Question paper will consist of 70% Objective-multiple choice questions and 30 % descriptive, testing Writing and Communication skills in English.

Internships

Internship is the regular feature of the programme. Experiential learning is key feature of our university. Students are required to undergo Five internships during the entire course.

Though Internship will not be credit based but it is mandatory to undergoing five internships. This would reflect on the transcript of the students.

  1. Cost of books, reading material, handouts, printouts, medical insurance and electricity use in Hostel will be charged separately as per actual.

  2. Students can pay the total annual fees in two equal installments as shown above.

  3. A refundable Program Security Deposit of INR 10,000 is to be made at the time of admission which is refunded on completion of the degree Program.

  4. All students who choose to live on campus housing are required to make a refundable Hostel Security Deposit of INR 15,000 which is refunded when they leave the hostel. Hostel contracts are for one year and students cannot leave the hostel during the contract period.

  5. Student accommodation is ?rst given to students from outside the municipal limits of Surat city

  6. Foreign National/ PIO/NRIs can pay the fees in USD or its equivalent in Indian currency at the prevailing exchange rates.

  7. Tuition and Hostel fees in the subsequent year(s) may be revised upwards and adjusted by the rate of inflation (Not Exceeding 10 percent).
