MBA (Master of Business Administration)

The MBA at AURO allows students to gain an understanding of the way businesses are run so that they can become positive change agents in their work and life. It instills within students an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to go beyond academic management approaches. The program helps students recognize and anticipate opportunity.

The MBA at AURO is intended to provide students with the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to make critical decisions in the future, where they will lead teams and manage businesses. Students learn not just theory, but how to apply cutting-edge concepts to real, relevant and live business problems.

The AURO MBA program is rigorous with a constantly-evolving curriculum, teaching students how to work more effectively, efficiently and with greater creativity in the work place - attributes that successful companies not only look for while recruiting, but also reward through promotions.

Course Structure

Selection Procedure
Applications will be shortlisted based on:

• Past academic credentials.
• Valid score on either the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) conducted by Government of Gujarat OR Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by the All India Management Association OR Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs OR Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) OR XAT conducted by XLRI OR Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
• Completion of Application Form, including Statement of Purpose.
• Personal Interview.

ANNUAL FEE STRUCTURE FOR MBA PROGRAM ? 2 YEAR FULL TIME

1. Cost of books, reading material, handouts, printouts, medical insurance and electricity use in Hostel will be charged separately as per actual.

2. Students can pay the total annual fees in two equal installments as shown above.

3. A refundable Program Security Deposit of INR 10,000 is to be made at the time of admission which is refundable on completion of the degree program.

4. All Students who choose to live on campus housing are required to make a refundable Hostel Security Deposit of INR 15,000 which is refunded when they leave the hostel. Hostel contracts are for one year and students cannot leave the hostel during the contract period.

5. Student accommodation is first given to students from outside the municipal limits of Surat city.

6. Foreign National/PIO/NRIs can pay the fees in USD or its equivalent in Indian currency at the prevailing exchange rates.

7. Tuition and Hostel Fees in the subsequent year(s) may be revised upwards and adjusted by the rate of inflation (Not Exceeding 10 Percent).

Duration: The Program is distributed over four semesters during a 2-year full time schedule.
