The B Sc (IT) program at AURO will allow students to gain an understanding of information technology and its varied applications in modern world in various domain areas. The students will be geared to have practical orientation and have application centric approach towards learning. The three year course is structured in accordance with the latest developments in the area of information technology in order to align the knowledge and skills of the students in accordance with the competing expectations of various stakeholders from technology domain in the corporate world.

The integrated pedagogy will aim at delivering an integrated transformational learning experience by having a techno-business focus. The curricula at AURO University are dynamically updated to keep it in tandem with the dynamically changing expectations of the corporate world and the exponentially dynamic technology and business environment.

The three year degree course in BSc IT will orient the students towards various aspects of information technology including but not limited to software, databases, networking, and allied areas. The students will get knowledge, skills and exposure towards software development, software testing, web design and development, databases, programming, network administration and various other topics from allied areas so that they are able to excel in various domain areas of technology and business with a techno-business orientation and focus. The students will be oriented to perform tasks relating to technology, database development and management, server administration, communication of information between computers, mobile phones, and other electronic devices.

The course will emphasise on evolving dynamic IT professional orientated towards catching up with changing times and changing technology at an exponential rate of change in the world of technology and business.

The B Sc (IT) program at AURO is rigorous and focussed on providing hands on experience of software development process and allied areas with an integrated approach toward teaching, learning and applying technology in the real world.

Selection Procedure
Applications will be shortlisted based on:

• Past academic credentials.

• Completion of Application Form including Statement of Purpose.

• Personal Interview.

Program Fee

1. Cost of books, reading material, handouts, printouts, medical insurance and electricity use in Hostel will be charged separately as per actual.

2. Students can pay the total annual fees in two equal installments as shown above.

3. A refundable Program Security Deposit of INR 10,000 is to be made at the time of admission which is refunded on completion of the degree Program.

4. All students who choose to live on campus housing are required to make a refundable Hostel Security Deposit of INR 15,000 which is refunded when they leave the hostel. Hostel contracts are for one year and students cannot leave the hostel during the contract period.

5. Student accommodation is ?rst given to students from outside the municipal limits of Surat city

6. Foreign National/ PIO/NRIs can pay the fees in USD or its equivalent in Indian currency at the prevailing exchange rates.

7. Tuition and Hostel fees in the subsequent year(s) may be revised upwards and adjusted by the rate of inflation (Not Exceeding 10 percent).

Duration: The Program is distributed over Six semesters during a 3-year full time schedule.
