Overview, Content & Syllabus

This course strives to cover Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Services and much more. The training coverage is also much more extensive and in depth in this course. At first we develop basics of communication skills among students where we take special care in grammar rectification and try to build confidence in them neutralizing their accent. Then our grooming experts train them on the grooming standards required by the Hospitality Industry while focusing on personality development.

Under Technical skill the Students are prepared department wise training them on Front office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Food and Beverage Service etc.

One feature that immediately meets the eye indicating the growth of a country like us is hospitality. And the Indian hospitality industry is going great guns presently, with high operating margins and increase in the number of travelers visiting India- both inbound and outbound. Thus, the only direction left for the sector points upwards. But, one of the greatest challenges plaguing the hospitality industry us unavailability of quality and trained workforce in different skill levels. Every other country is working continuously towards the growth of hospitality sector and thereby creating a burgeoning demand of qualitative work force.

Hospitality training has applications well beyond traditional service-oriented businesses such as restaurants, hotels and spas. Training for hospitality equips employees with tools to successfully manage conflict and adopt a client-centered attitude. Training for hospitality workers stresses service orientation. Employees learn to anticipate guests' needs, actively listen to client requests, observe customers' behavior and act accordingly, and communicate with guests effectively.

At APT, we focus on teaching customer service and conflict resolution extensively. Students are trained to evaluate customer satisfaction, how to give guests their full attention while resolving a complaint and exhibit appropriate body language and calm, professional speech. Training sessions introduce techniques to "win" the client's favor, such as maintaining strong eye contact, handling all guest requests promptly and smiling and thanking the guest upon his departure.
