What will you learn from this course?

See the subject. To see is more than looking and to become a photographer one must know to see the world around.

Understand the limitations of a camera and human eye. Yes, the way you see a subject may not appear in a photograph. Why is this ?. And how to make your camera work for you.

Make photos. Making a photo is a process and taking a photo is an accident. Good photos happen with imagination, planning and understanding the equipments.

Use your camera & lenses most effectively. Camera & lenses are the tools that convert your imagination in to a photograph. Understanding the camera and its controls are most important to make photography meaningful.

See the light around. Of the most important elements of photography, light is very special and learning to understand the natural light variations and artificial light and making it to work is important for a good photographer.

Understand the basic controls of photography. The aperture, shutter speed and exposure controls are important to get your picture technically good. You will be learning all these in detail to make a creative photograph.

Compose a fine photo. The aesthetics of the art – photography comes through finer compositions. Understanding the principles of composition in detail to make a picture tell a story or atleast make it look beautiful. The vision psychology, pattern of our seeing, exploiting the shape,form,texture,colour,lines, geometry etc. are important to make your photo far different and meaningful from others.

Shoot people. People photography is something one practices to prove the talent of photography. You will make good people pictures. Child photos – a permanent reminder that safeguards those precious memories. You win people’s confidence by specializing event photography and child portraits.

Shoot great outdoors. Places, buildings, temples, monuments, beaches, landscapes, nature, animals, candid expressions etc.

Manipulating your digital photos to make them look great. Concept of digital photography – cameras, lenses, storage media, files and formats – study in detail–exposure – dynamic range - introduction to image editing – color - contrast – brightness – special effects etc.

Simple portraits. Out door – available light – Basic studio lighting set up – shooting passport and simple portraits.

Tips to shoot great photos. Fine tune your skills using the easy tips to make your images great.

Through extensive lessons, faculty guidance, practical exercises, field trips, assignments and reviews.

What will you get on completion of the course?

Completion of the course means, doing all assignments and submission of final project to the standard which are mandatory for the course. You’ll get a Certificate in Basic Digital Photography from AMBITIONS 4 PHOTOGRAPHY ACADEMY.

• Eligibility & Prerequisites:

  The learner must have an attitude to learn photography. Must have passed at least 10th Std in the school level. Must possess a Digital SLR camera and a portable flash.

• Duration: Four months (Tuesday to Friday)

• Registration: You can either call the academy or register on line through the ‘Register’ link.

• Course Fee: Indian Rupees 84,270/- (Rs.75,000/- plus 12.36% service tax).For foreign students USD.2,250/= (2000+12.36% service tax).
