About this course
Students create and execute design concepts and present finished artwork using a combination of traditional studio media and digital technologies. On completion graduates gain the vocational training to enter the industry as an assistant or junior designer in a professional practice, or work as a freelance designer.

Duration
The entire course has a duration of 3 years. Online classes are delivered as formal lectures, tutorials, workshops and computer work. It is expected that students will devote 20 hours a week on average to cover assignments and research.

Award
Advanced Diploma of Advertising & Graphic Design which is a Nationally Endorsed course. Graduates will also be awarded the internationally recognised qualification.

Prerequisites
Basic computer and communication skills. Recognition of prior learning will be offered on request.

Software
All current top end graphic design programs are covered in this course. They include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign as well as Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash. Students doing this course will be required to own a computer (PC or Mac) with at least 1GB RAM and the Adobe Creative Suite. The student version can be obtained at an extremely attractive price after enrolment.

Computer Access
Students doing this course will be required to own a computer (PC or Mac) with at least 1GB RAM. We have an open access policy, all students are free to use our facilities at any time that the college is open (subject to availability).

Class Size
Not applicable. All communication is conducted through a dedicated bulletin board and by email.

Fees

Cancellations
Cancellation of your enrolment at any time up to four weeks from course commencement will result in you receiving a full refund for any money you have paid less an administration fee of $250.00. Cancellation within four weeks of course commencement or after course commencement will incur a fee equal to ten weeks tuition fees and we will refund to you any fees you have paid over and above this amount. All enrolment cancellations must be in writing.
