Wrestling a grappling art that focuses on how to take down and control an opponent. It is a useful component of any martial artists arsenal, because it allows the practitioner to dictate where a fight will, or won’t, take place.
In a self defense situation, wrestling skills might be the tools that allow you to remain standing as your attacker attempts to hold or tackle you, allowing you to escape to safety. Likewise, it might allow you to take down and quickly dispatch your attacker.
In modern MMA competition, wrestlers have proven to be a dominant force in every weight class, with many holding world titles.

About Indian Combat Sports Academy is the first Mixed Martial Arts gym in South India, and the first school with a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu curriculum in the whole of India. Our goal is to have an year-round active fight team. Even if you don’t compete, our program will get you fit, and give you skills you can immediately apply to a self-defense situation. We are located in Bangalore, Karnataka in BTM Layout.
