Introduction

French (le français) or la language française is a Romance language spoken as a first language in France, the Romandy region in Switzerland, Wallonia and Brussels in Belgium, Monaco, the province of Quebec and the Acadia region in Canada, the north of the U.S. state of Maine, the Acadiana region of the U.S. state of Louisiana, and by various communities elsewhere. Second-language speakers of French are distributed throughout many parts of the world, the largest numbers of who reside in Francophone Africa.

In Africa, French is most commonly spoken in Gabon (where 80% report fluency) Mauritius (78%), Algeria (75%), Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire (70%). French is estimated as having 110 million native speakers and 190 million second language speakers.

  • Numbers, Time, Writing Dates, Days, Months & Seasons

  • Subject Pronouns, Conjugation of "To Be".

  • Descriptive Adjectives, Placement of Adjectives

  • Common Occupations, Formation of Adverbs

  • Prepositions, Conjunctions, Countries & Nationalities

  • Demonstrative Pronouns & Adjectives.

  • Present Tense, Future Tense and Past Tense of Regular Verbs

  • Making sentences negative and interrogative

  • Common Vocabulary including over 1000 words

  • Revision & Test
