Overview, Content & Syllabus

Meditation is a technique that we can use at any time and place to quieten the mind and restore peace and harmony within ourselves. This subsequently gets manifested in our outward life as well. Meditation is intended not to stop us thinking but to help us to produce order in the midst of our confusion. By relaxing our mind through meditation, we can clear the chatter for a time and experience a renewed sense of energy. This enables us to bring identity, clarity and freedom to take control over our lives to become healthier and happier.

Within every human being there is a subtle body of three energy channels (nadis) and seven energy centres (chakras). At the root of this system lies a creative, protective and nurturing power which is a dormant, maternal energy (Kundalini). When this power is awakened within us, it rises spontaneously through the spinal column, passes through each of the chakras and emits from the fontanelle bone area on top of the head. This process is referred to as Enlightenment (Self-realization). This energy can actually be felt on top of the head and on the palms of the hands. Any imbalances in the subtle system can be felt on various parts of each hand. Through this meditation one can learn, not only how to diagnose and decode the state of one’s own inner subtle system, but one can also learn very simple clearing techniques to rebalance oneself.

There are 7 major chakras within our subtle body: Mooladhara, Swadisthana, Nabhi (Manipura), Heart (Anahata), Vishuddhi, Ajna and Sahasrara.

Group and private meditation classes are offered by Yogi Sivadas. His teachings include various modalities of meditation for the inner mind. Techniques of ancient and modern analysis of the functions and the body and mind are explained with a clear teaching of Vedic and Yogic Psychology.

Meditation therapies for overcoming addictions, phobias, relationship issues, and general problems in life will be addressed, as well relaxation. Classes are adjusted to meet the interest of the individual or groups.

Kailash Tribal School of Yoga and Holistic Healing was established on March 8th 2002 following the completion of Director Yogi Sivadas’s Yoga Teacher Training course at the Sivananda centre in Kerala.

Kailash Tribal School of Yoga and Holistic Healing, is a 200, 300 & 500 hrs Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Teacher Training center located in the nature blessed Himalayan foothills of Mcleodganj, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh - India (North). It is a little town in north of India and is regarded as the land of diverse religion, peace, nature and spirit. A popular travelers paradise.

The yoga centre is a well known yoga school offering many forms of yoga training such as Classical Hatha yoga, Patanjali Ashtanga yoga, Classical Vinyasa yoga and Traditional Kundalini yoga. Also offering courses in Reiki, Meditation, Philosophy, Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy and Sound Therapy modalities of Holistic Healing.

The yoga center is now celebrating its 12th year of successful Yoga training and graduating yoga teachers across the globe. Our Yoga teacher training courses provides a comprehensive knowledge of Yoga and also it's philosophy, physiology, mantra chanting, chakras, anatomy, mudras, pranayama and meditation in conjunction with the course.

The teacher training is a four week comprehensive yoga instructor training course that is designed in accordance with the RYS 200 hours standards of Yoga Alliance. The YTTC is led by the highly experienced yoga teacher Yogi Sivadas, who has more than a decade of teaching and practicing yoga in the Himalayas of India. The yoga school at Mcleodganj, Dharamshala runs it's yoga courses from March to December every year.
