| Eligibility: (Pre-requisites) | you need to have senior secondary school certificate/intermediate/12th or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks. Those who are applying on the basis of bachelor degree must have at least 45% of marks. The age limit for the course is 17th to 28th year. |

1. What is JBT?
The concept of JBT-Junior Basic training in India is a result of the realization that education received at the elementary level shapes the human personality in more ways than one.
It is therefore in the interest of the students that they be taught by trained teachers who can develop the cognitive skills and also take care of the emotional needs of the students. The junior basic training Institutes (JBT) have come up in India mainly to train the teachers who are actively engaged in imparting education to the tender aged children.
2. CET exam :
• Passing the common entrance test (CET) you need to get minimum 40 per cent marks out of 100.( for general category)
• You belong of reserved category then you need to get only 35 per cent out of 100 for passing the exam.
• There will be one question paper carrying 100 question of multiple choices. There will be many category of question like Hindi, English, numerical, general knowledge.
