Masters in Physiotherapy (M.P.Th.) - (MUHS)

Program Structure :

Duration : Masters in Physiotherapy (M.P.Th.) is 3 years course affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS).

Objectives :

1) To develop overall abilities of the students.

2) To provide quality & high standard education in Physiotherapy.

3) To develop Physiotherapists well versed with all Physiotherapy Skills & confidence to treat & research on all dimensions of Physio therapeutic knowledge.

Pedagogy :

SICOP believes more in interactive learning rather than didactic lectures. Patient Bed side teaching & Problem based learning are essential components of learning during PG.

Fee Structure :

MPTh - Fees structure for PG is INR 1,20,000/- (Rs. One Lakh Twenty Thousand Only) in first year and 1,26,000/- (Rs. One Lakh Twenty Six Thousand Only) per year for next two years as per Shikshan Shulka Samiti’s Guidelines. Bank assistance is available

Admission Calendar :

The admission program is as per MUHS guidelines. Seats Available are 2 per guide (As per MUHS rules).

Intake capacity: 24 students per year. Presently 8 Seat Available

Admissions:

Admissions & Reservations as per DMER rules. Admission re done through common entrance test. Association of Management of Unaided Private and Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra (AMUMPMDC) conducted an entrance exam called ASSO CET for the admission of various courses in unaided Dental and Medical Colleges & physiotherapy colleges in Maharashtra.

Academic Calendar :

The term starts from June of every year. Exams for PG are at the end of their academic term. Performance of dissertation is vital part of post graduation program. 75% attendance is mandatory as per university rules.
