Course Outline

• Detail study of alcoholic beverage (introduction, classification, rum, gin, Vodka, Tequila, Liqueurs & aperitifs, other alcoholic beverages, Beer, Non alcoholic beverage etc)

• Introduction to bar, beverage and bartending

• Opening and closing of bar

• Essence of mixology, practical application of mixology

• Bar Ethics and alcohol awareness

• Effective buying costing and beverage control

• Licensing laws, inventory and FLR Formalities

• Practicals of more than 50 classic, contemporary and innovative cocktail

• Equipment and glassware

• Menu planning & marketing the bar and cocktails.

Includes - Mixology kit, Uniform and course material.

Certification Criteria

• Certification criteria for mixology courses.

• Attendance 70%.

• Submission of 2 projects.

• Qualifying online and written test with minimum of 70%.

• 6 training session at the live bars or 1 month work experience at bar.
