DSLR Photography + Cinematography Course

This short course, over twelve Sundays, develops the creative and technical skills necessary to capture visually superior images, both still and motion, on digital cameras. This course will also teach critical evaluation of both the student’s and other photographer’s work.

• Camera controls

• Sharpness

• Exposure

• Capturing light and color

• Capturing black and white Images

• Understanding lenses

• Using flash

• Fundamentals of lighting

• Introduction to cinematography

• Capturing time and movement

Note: We reccomend that students use their own digital SLR camera so that they become familiar with their own equipment. Cameras may be provided for students who don’t have their own camera. Please advise the admissions office at the time of submitting your application if you will require a camera.
