Selection Procedure

• The Selection for MHHM Program will be done through an Aptitude test conducted by AIPH followed by GD and PI

• The candidates having 2 years of work experience or more in Hospital and Healthcare Sector and Candidates with any All India Level Management test scores (MAT, XAT, CAT etc not more than one year) are exempted from the Aptitude test but they have to appear the GD and PI sessions

Bank Loan

On request, Institute will provide valid documents to avail bank loans for the MHHM Program.

The Beginning

The Asian Institute of Public Health (AIPH), the first of its kind in public health research and training in Asia, is located in Odisha, a state on the east coast of India.

Along with challenges of rapid economic development, the state faces serious health problems as evident from poor health indicators. Problems span from very high infant and maternal mortality, endemic Malaria, Filariasis, and malnutrition, to the frequent resurgence of Anthrax , Dengue , Chikungunya, and Cholera. AIPH emerged from these needs felt on the ground and the insights gained by physicians and public health researchers working in India over the last decade. The institute was formally inaugurated in 2008 by the honorable Chief Minister of Odisha.

Preamble

Hospitals and other health care facilities are increasing in number very fast in private and public sector in India. There is a need for a large number of competent (Knowledge, Skills and Attitude) hospital and health care managers in the country. To fill the current gap in this category of trained health manpower, Asian Institute of Public Health has taken initiative with Centurion University to train and build a cadre of competent managers by launching a Post Graduate Programme i.e Master of Hospital and Healthcare Management (MHHM) from academic year 2013.

MHHM course objective:

The course objective is to prepare the student's with adequate knowledge & Skills to manage the complexities of healthcare & hospital administration for effective delivery of quality services using modern management techniques & tools.

MHHM Post Graduate Program

Duration of the course: 2 years including 6 months of Internship in hospitals, TPA & healthcare facilities in district & block level
