Jenefa Vijay, Director (VJ School of Music & Studio01)

A talented vocalist she has featured in many different albums from a very young age. Her passion for music and her eye for creating an atmosphere has bought so much energy for the school. Being a MBA graduate from one of the top business school in India her organizational skills has made VJ School of Music what it is today. Apart from her management skills she is taking over the Vocals department and going to teach hands on Western Vocals for the budding singers. Watch out for her first musical production which will be released this Q3 2012 and the more more which is in the pipeline for this year. She has great vision for our schools future road map and soon she is going to take the school to new heights.

Vijay Ratnakumar, Director of Academics

Inclined towards computer & music from a young age he wanted both to be part of each other. Audio Engineering enabled him to be in touch with both of his passion and he honed his skills in SAE and completed his DAE in 2005. He simultaneously finished his graduation in Journalism & Mass communications. He released his debut album Flood and went on to produce many different albums and mix and record songs for various bands and artists. Likes to listen to various genres of music around the word and also designs various sounds. Being a drummer he likes to do rhythm programming and widened his skills to Guitar and Keyboard which enabled him to compose. He is presently the chief engineer of Sudio01 & also for many live bands. He loves to teach others which is the primary reason he is heading the school and is an expert in music theory.

KP Prateesh, Instrumental Training Head

An avid Metal & Gothic fan Prateesh came into the limelight of music when he did numerous shows during his early days in college life. He soon rose to prominence and started playing for the band Tinuviel. After starting to explore in to other genres he showed his versatility by playing for the band Maya which played Hindustani Classical. He soon ventured into Rock and played for the band Pipe Dream. Soon after finishing their first album with Maya titled Illusion he is presently the keyboard player and sequencer for Maya and also for the well famed Power Metal Band Armour of God. He is heading the School's Instruments training with his innovative approach and his experience in various Genres & styles helps students get a wide level of musical exposure along with the classical touch of Trinity Guildhall syllabus. He is also the Music Production Manager of Studio01.
