This course is performance based. Technical artistry will be evident and the commitment to dance undeniable. The dancer must demonstrate the outstanding ability and personality befit a professional. Opportunities to continue choreographic skills and assist theatre direction will be part of this level. Stage makeup, costume design, lighting along with choreography, sound design, preparation for lecture demonstration and performance are an integral part of this course.

Each dancer will be required to continue intensive dance training while also preparing to teach. The dancers will be engaged in assisting classes, while attending private and group workshops to develop teaching skills. At this point, although the dancers have had a wide range of many techniques, he/ she will begin to formulate an idea of specialty, which they may use to further their career in dance. Having the ability to teach as well as perform contributes flexibility and longevity to the career of the dancers.

A dancer with great performance skills and teaching provide multiple opportunities in the world of dance. The professional dancers in this program will be models by which the younger students will emulate. They are the best of programs offerings demonstrating self-awareness, confidence and professionalism. They are expected to be the calling card of the school and program.

Whether it is for self or for career, the student is expected to have passion for dancing. The student should understand of dance expression and how to achieve as an individual dancer. The student can increase creative and choreographic skills through the presentation of individual and group dance compositions. The student will develop accuracy and consistency in performance, movement studies and dance compositions.

Age Group: Only for Professional Dancers OR Dance Collective Members of the Academy.

The objective of the academy behind running these Certificate Programmes in Dance is that the students must get to learn more comprehensive skills of dancing rather than stressing on any single dance form. This programme offers structured learning in dance, the courses are designed keeping in mind different levels and age groups of students. From beginners to advance, students are introduced to different techniques, dance theories, facial & theatrical expressions, makeup, costume, choreography and stage direction at higher levels.

This programme is only appropriate for dedicated and disciplined students with a real passion to become a great dancer. There is a proper period for covering each level of training the key aspects of danceing craft. Each year of programme has been divided into two sessions to offer flexibility and better engagement among students and faculties.

Certificates are presented to students on yearly basis after annual day concert on the basis of performance during the year and the recommendation of faculty.
