Drums is our primary rythm instrument we teach in our school. As we do for other we offer them in Trinity Guildhall syllabus as well as our very own syllabus where both are western style. Apart from training students for the grade examination we also teach every student Rythm programming and Audio recording as part of our curriculum to make them a complete musician. We can safely & proudly say that we are the only school in India to teach them as part of music classes.
Every alternate month the school will conduct in house concert to encourage students to gain experience to play in a live environment and to get exposure to the pressures involving in the process. We also offer outstanding students the opportunity to play in our studios for various recordings. Also our annual summer fest gives a great opportunity for all to show off their skills to the world.

VJ School of Music and in its 30 months of existence has become one of the south chennai's most coveted western music school. Our philosophy is such that we wanted to teach unadulterated western music to our students and to grow their skills in them. Along the way Trinity Guildhall was accumulated to our syllabus so our students can gauge their progress while aquiring an international certification from them to show the world. We thought it would be incomplete unless every musician know atleast the basics of audio technology to grow and hence Audio Engineering became part of the syllabus and we are proud to say that we are the only school in India to include Audio Engineering as part of the Music courses. That in reality is learning the theory as well as having practical recording sessions.
VJ School of Music built its very own professional Audio & Video recording studios in its campus named Studio01. We decided to start a professional training course for people who were looking for a competitive Audio Engineering course. So after 14 months of extensive work from 7 leading professionals in the industry the course was introduced. The completely rewritten syllabus covers everything from the old age recording techniques to the industries latest technologies.
The school has started courses such as Vocals, Dance, English & various others to fulfill the need of the hour. From time to time the school conducts crash courses on many media technologies & music.
