The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Quest Group of Institutions is setting new benchmarks in imparting quality education to its students. The CSE department at Quest Group of Institutions has state of the art Air Conditioned Computer Centre and Computer Labs, equipped with Latest Computers from HP & DELL. All the computers are connected to high speed network with powerful Server machines.

The department provides 6 Mbps (1:1 pure) Leased Line internet connectivity to the students which is further extended via Wi-Fi network in the institution as well as Hostels.

The CSE department is a member of MSDN academic alliance of Microsoft , which means that the students and staff members can access majority of Microsoft Software Free of cost

Career Prospects

Computer and IT industry is one of the fastest growing segments of our economy. It is said to be one of the largest job providers in the country. As per NASSCOM projections IT industry will employ more than 30 million professionals by the year 2020.

Some of the options for the students after passing out Computer Engineering are :

• Students can join any IT and ITES Company. The job profile may vary like that of Programmer, testing engineer, networking engineer, Web Developer, Mobile Application Developer, Database Administrator, Database Programmer etc. Some of the leading companies which hire huge number of Computer Science Graduates are Infosys, HCL, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Accenture, Cognizant Technologies etc.

• There are plenty of opportunities in different government departments also Such as ISRO, DRDO, ECIL, BEL, BSNL, RRB etc.

• They can also appear for UPSC and other state level civil services exam..

Computer Engineering graduates receive excellent pay package at the initial level itself compared to the other engineering fields. Starting salary could be in the range of Rs.1.5 Lacs to Rs. 3.5 Lacs per annum, which, with 2 or 3 year of experience may gradually rise to Rs. 5-6 Lacs per annum or more. The remuneration depends on the status of the industry and experience, qualifications and ability of the employee. Also they can find job openings both in India and abroad
