DQ School of Visual Arts
DQSVA came into existence to offer well trained manpower to the ever growing media, animation and gaming industry needs.
DQSVA, the training arm of DQ Entertainment started off over 10 years ago. There was an express need felt by DQE for well trained manpower which is ready for executing its world class productions, and thus out of this need was born DQSVA.
At DQSVA the endeavor is to keep the student interest in total focus. The DQSVA curriculum has been designed by taking inputs from several industry professionals external as well as from within DQE. The curriculum is a culmination of exhaustive efforts put in to collate all this information gathered from the industry to build a very robust learning platform for the students. The main aim in designing the curriculum was to see a graduate student fit for a position across any media, animation, gaming company.
The course design is such that the student undergoes `real life experience’ which gives him the feel of what it would be to work on a `live project’ once he graduates. Each and every student is given the dedicated attention and one on one sessions with the trainers and mentors, this benefits the student immensely in his learning process.
Mentoring is a constant at DQSVA – International and national mentors from a cross section of media, gaming, animation companies come and share their world knowledge with the students. Constant guest sessions from the DQE production team are an added bonus as the students get to learn from the same team which has delivered over 10000 minutes of world class animation and gaming content over the years working with world major studios.
Our goal is to provide the best possible training to be imparted to the students to make them worthy of getting appointment at any good animation, media, gaming company.
KNOWLEDGE SHARING PARTNERSHIPS:
The increasing demand for training in animation, gaming scripting, VFX, post production and live action content creation across India has led DQ SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS to enhance the capacity of its training facilities through “Knowledge Sharing Partnerships” with some State Governments in India. Training academies have been set up in Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal & Indore), Rajasthan and West Bengal in association with the respective State Governments, which have provided DQE access to talent from these states. Gwalior is the new location in Madhya Pradesh where DQE has tied up a Knowledge Sharing Partner in the DQSVA section.
Within these partnerships with State Governments, DQSVA offers a 12 month Animation Training course and over the last couple of years over 1100 students have been trained.
