As per Ministry of Human Resources Development estimates - India needs 2.5 lakh cyber experts and professionals to effectively tackle cyber crimes. (Source: Times of India Feb 10, 2011).
"Taking into account the requirement emerging for protection of information technology infrastructure in the country as well as to serve the export market, a demand for 4.7 lakh cyber security professionals has been estimated by the year 2015."

ASCL Certified Cyber Security Analyst is an advanced level course in cyber security.

Cyber Security Analysis Skills
1. A thorough understanding of the Conceptual Framework of Cyber Security including the Data64 Cyber Security Sphere, Cyber Security Terminology, Electronic Authentication, Selecting IT Security Products, Managing Risk from Information Systems and Information Security Testing and Assessment.
2. A thorough understanding of End Point Security including Desktop and Laptop Security, Cell Phone and PDA Security, Patch and Vulnerability Management, Password Management, Security for Full Virtualization Technologies and Media Sanitization.
3. A thorough understanding of Network Security including Intrusion Detection & Prevention systems, Firewalls and Firewall Policy, Computer Security Log Management, Enterprise Telework and Remote Access Security.
