Understanding of fashion and merchandising within its context, Planning, buying and selling of products (apparel specific). Fashion language guide, Textiles, product QC. costing, advertising & mktg..Merchandisers role in a manufacturing concern, exports & retail. The course further opens up more career avenues in fashion buying, fashion retail and brand management.
The supplementary practical tutorial is an integral part of this part time diploma course. In the first module of the course, students learn the origin of fashion concepts along with the elements of product design.
The practical and theoretical skills that the course participants acquire covered in the second and the third module intend to provide them with sufficient confidence to realize their own career profile in concrete form in the related workshops and industry visits.
