Theater Workshop Training Program For Physical Theatre Stage Fights And Stage Effects
Conducting workshops for theatre, street play artistes, stage performers, stage fights, body movements, physical theatre, yoga, mahim, fencing and sword fights, traditional martial arts, historical and mythological weapon training programs, modern stage fights & stage choreography etc. These arts are very essential for performing artistes.
The drama schools and theatre institutions may utilize this opportunity along with all the above facilities. The spare time can be utilized for practicing theatre activities, rehearsal of play, drama and related activities.
Training programs will be for 4 to 8 hours per day - Workshop will be conducted for 2 to 6 weeks
Fee structure will be decided by the authorities depending on the strength.

Prof. John Rasul Brown from Middlesex University, London, directed the William Shakespeare’s play “Macbeth” for 3rd year Diploma Production at NSD Choreographed Western Sword Fight on the play, during the year 2001.

Martial Arts training workshop was given to Street Play artists by BWSSB in association with Rural Development and Panchayatraj Department in Ramanagar, Kudalasangama, Bagalkot.

A real lifestory play ‘Akash Butti’ was performed in Benaka Theatres, established by late B.V.Karanth.

Performance show was given by artists after giving them martial arts training for the play ‘Dyavanur’, by K.V.Subbanna’s Neenasam, Heggodu-2004.

Training was given to artists for the play ‘Kulam’ a story representing Karna of Mahabharatha by Sri Shivakumar Kala Sangha, Sanehalli and Shivasanchara Nataka Troupe, Hosadurga.

Shivasanchara’s Hindi play ‘Raktakalyana’ directed by Salim Arif, NSD graduate, written by Girish Karnad, Stage fight choreography & body movements was conducted.

Performance show was given by artists after training them for the play ‘Hedegarike’, composed by Sri Agni Sridhar – Jana Samskruti Organisation.

‘Chinnaramela-2005’ conducted at Rangayana Mysore in 2005, 450 children participated in the camp, and performed for the play ‘Makkala Mahabharath’ (Children’s Mahabharata). Specially trained them sword fight, archery, gada yudha, etc. real wax palace burning effects in fire show and war sequence were performed in the show. The play was directed by Sri C.Basavalingaiah.

Conducted theatre training workshop at Mysore Natana Theatre Group for 15 students for 1-month for acrobatics, physical theatre, body movements etc. artists have performed as jokers in the play ‘Gandhi V/s Ambedkar’. The play was directed by veteran theatre director from NSD C.Basavalingaiah, Ex.director Rangayana, Mysore.

Conducted theatre training workshop for ‘Yuvaranga Samskruti Shibira’, Gulbarga, organized by Rangayana, Mysore and Gulbarga University at Gulbarga. The camp was directed by veteran theatre director from NSD C.Basavalingaiah, Ex.director Rangayana, Mysore. Given performances like acrobatics, physical theatre, body movements etc. in 20 days programme. Finally, the stage performance was given by the artists in the month of December.

Conducted Theatre training programme at Ranga Adhyayana Kendra, Bandarkars’ College Campus, Kundapur, South Canara district in the month of January 2008. The Ranga Adhyayana Kendra is the only theatre institute in coastal region of Karnataka state. The training was conducted for body movements, physical theatre, voice yoga, acrobatics, stick fights for the historical play ‘Akkinova Kurasuva’ – a Japanese play. After training artists were performed the show in front of the media people, and the show was witnessed by Dr. H.Shantharam, Director of Bhandarkar’s College, Prof. Vasanth Banneri, Director, Ranga Adhyayana Kendra, Mr.Gopalakrishna Nayari, Veteran Theatre Personality and many others.

The Institute is recognized by the Department of Culture, Government of India for resource and Development training programme for INDIAN TRADITIONAL FOLK MARTIAL ART with its main objective of imparting systematic training for those aspirants seeking their fortune in the field of Theater, Cinema and Television. During 1990, under the management of K.I.S.A. We established “NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FILM STUNTS” was based on guidelines from Mr.TIM CONDREN, the Principal of “THE LONDON FILM STUNT SCHOOL” U.K. and also Stunt co-ordinator for the JAMES BOND Series. Under this banner we conducted training programme at Mumbai, New Delhi, Meerut and Bangalore for more than 500 students in Stunts, Martial Art etc. and made them to become Professionals and also upcoming artists in the field of Cinema, Theaters & TV.
One of the main objectives of the STUNT ACADEMY is to take it further to train the artistes to National and International standards.
We have regular classes for stunt professionals and Self Defence classes for ladies. We conduct workshops on Stunt Technology for theater and Film personalities. Weekend training camps, adventurous & summer camps for children. Physical education and Health Care Center for all. We have fully equipped gymnasium along with Stunt, Safety & Special Equipment to provide the best training for the benefit of the students.
We have expert teaching staff headed by Founder - Hassan Raghu. The Training for the students is provided by our expert instructors, Stunt Masters, Stunt Choreographers, Martial Art Instructors, Body Movement experts, Yoga and other skilled and qualified Technicians.
