The SAT is an aptitude test. Like all aptitude tests, it must choose a medium in which to measure intellectual ability. The SAT has chosen Math and English. Most of the aspirants for undergraduate studies to US need to take it. SAT takes about 3 hours and 45 minutes. SAT exam is administered by College Board. It is required to secure admission for any Under Graduate studies in USA/Canada. It contains Critical Reading, Math and Writing Section. The SAT is about 2400 marks, English section is for 1600 marks while Math section is 800 marks. The writing section is measured on a scale of (0 to 6 points). SAT is offered 6 times a year.

Score Validity:

The SAT score is valid for 5 years.

Score & Duration:

Total score is out of 2400 & duration of the test is 4 Hrs & 5 Mins.

Sending Scores:

The score is sent to four universities free of cost, which can be selected at any time of registering for the exam. College Board charges additional for the score to be sent to university later.

The registration is either done by mail or online.

SAT II (Subject) Test:

SAT II is sometimes a prerequisite for admission into a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Medicine, etc. in top Universities.

Math Level I C, Math Level II C, Physics, Chemistry, Biology E/M, Writing, Literature, American History, World History, Languages.
