First Year of 3D Animation and Visual Effects – Pre-production

1. Concept Design

   Perspective Drawing and Value Shading which will help you to design Sets and Props.

2. Character design

   Human Anatomy, Gesture Drawing, Dynamic Figure Drawing, Drapery and Design Principles for Developing Cartoon Characters that will populate the film.

3. Story boarding

   Writing an interesting story for screenplay, creating visual panels like a comic book, basics of Photography, Framing, Scene Composition and Layout.

4. Color theory

   Fundamental Principles of Practical Light and Color, Color Mixing, Color Harmonies, Contrast, Value and Color Temperature.

5. 12 Animation Principles

   Here, you will learn and master the 12 Principles of Animating Cartoon Characters developed by the Masters at Walt Disney Studios using the Award Winning 2D Animation Software – 'Toon Boom Studio'.

Second Year of 3D Animation and Visual Effects – Production:

1. Foundation of Maya

   Detailed description of Maya, which is the multi-award winning software.

2. Modeling

   Create Cartoon Character in a 3D environment using Maya's ground breaking Modeling Tools.

3. Texturing

   How to add life to your 3D models with skin, eye and hair along with Texturing clothing by integrating Maya and Photoshop.

4. Rigging

   Technical process of creating a Skeletal, Muscular and Control System for the 3D models.

5. Character Animation

   The ways of applying the 12 Character Animation Principles in the 3D environment of Maya.

6. Dynamics

   Create 3D Visual Effects and Simulations, like Particles, Cloth, Hair, Fur and Fluids through the Award Winning Physics System inside Maya software.

7. Rendering

   Create a finished render using multiple rendering engines like RenderMan, 3Delight, V-ray, Turtle, etc. built inside the architecture of Maya software.

Third Year of 3D Animation and Visual Effects – Productions:

1. Compositing (Part 1)

   How to combine multiple Render Layers, Effects Layers and Passes to create a seamless Final look for your fully CG Films or Multi-Layer Compositing, Post-Effects, Rotoscopy, Green/Blue Screen Removal, Color Correction, Camera Match Move, Grain Management and Stereoscopic 3D Conversion for your Live Action Films.

2. Compositing (Part2)

   Seamlessly merge your CG Characters and Environments with Live Action Shots using the Multi-Award Winning Compositing Software – 'NukeX'.

3. Video Editing

   Edit your final shots into an entertaining story using the industry standard video editing tool – Final Cut Pro.

4. Sound Editing

   Record, Edit and Synchronize Dialog, Musical Score and Sound Effects to the final video. This will be done using the industry standard Sound Editing Software – 'Sound Track Pro'.
