What is Solid Edge?
Solid Edge is a 3Dimensional, CAD oriented modeling software. It provides Drafting, Solid modeling and Assembly modeling functionalities. This software is very useful to engineers and designers.
This course is very beneficial for the engineering/ diploma students and designers. This course is also handy for the professionals, who want to upgrade their knowledge. There are many Solid Edge training institutes in Pune, but we train in a better way. We see to it that the theory and practical sessions go alternatively and effectively. In this manner, every concept gets simplified and is explained with adequate details in our course.
Introduction to SolidEdge window & Menu bar, Use of mouse.
Sketch: Draw toolbar, Feature & Relationship toolbar, Smart Dimensioning & Modifying Dimensions, and Applying Constraints, Circular & rect, Patterning.
Solid part: Understanding use of Planes, Feature toolbar, Protrusion, Revolve, loft, sweep, Cutout, Ribbon toolbar, Modifying 3D Model by Round, chamber, Rib, hole, etc., Creating & working efficiently Reference Planes, coordinate system, Edit Definition, Edit Profile, Dynamic edit, Advanced Modeling Techniques – Thin wall, Mirror copy Feature, Patterning, Draft, Constriction display, Physical Properties, Edit Formula, Variable Table.
Assembly: Creating relationship – mate, align, insert, connect, angle, flash fit Construction display, Activate part, Occurrence properties, Floating offset, fixed offset, Lock/Unlock relationship.
Drawing: Drawing Views toolbar, Drawing Wizard, Creating Different Views e.g. Principle views, auxiliary views, section & detail views, Draw Sketch, Activate Part, Part list, Text, leader annotation & weld symbols, Balloons. Retrieve dimension and Use of symbols, Control frame properties, working with different sheets, working effectively with tables.
After completion of the Solid Edge course, you will be assigned a Project.
