Grade 3
Cycle of 4ths & Fifths – 3 & 4 Part Chords & Intervallics. Includes the music of Abba, Dusty Springfield, Louis Armstrong.
Grade 4
Advanced Vocal Techniques, Modes, Harmonic Structures. Includes the music of Cyndi Lauper, David Bowie, Julie London.
Grade 5
Musical Notation, Sight-Reading, Improvisation. Includes the music of Whitney Houston, R.E.M. Van Morrison.
Grade 6
Extended Techniques, Patterns for Improvisation.

Eligibilty
Students need no previous experience or qualifications to register for these foundation courses.
TSM reserves the right to place students into the correct grade basis the audition, the student's skill level and any previous training and certification that they might have.
The sessions are geared towards absolute beginners and are a stepping stone to the professional vocals courses.
The students should be fluent in English as that would be the medium of instruction.
This course will teach techniques that enable vocal students to perform music from a rich and diverse repertoire, ranging across blues, country, gospel, rock & roll, classic rock, jazz and more.
Students will study Ensemble Performance, Vocal Technique, Ear-Training, Tone and Sound Production, Sight-Reading, Notation, Music Theory, Improvisation and many other important ancillary musical skills.
