Objectives:
In this course an aspirant will get knowledge of Manual Jewellery Designing like Pencil Rendering, Pencil Colour Rendering, or design in Computer 2D, also get knowledge of Concept Development, Weighing calculation of round diamonds, Basic Theoretical knowledge of Gems, Metals, Settings, Jewellery Market languages etc...

After completion of the course, Candidate can do job in any jewellery firm as a Manual or CAD 2-D Jewellery Designer.

Batch Commences: Batch system is not applied on this course. Candidate can join as per his/ her convenience.

Maximum Students in a batch: 18 in Manual Designing / 8 in Computer aided Designing

At the time of establishment, we started to teach, things that others do but as time passed we realized that our students are having only technical knowledge. That was not sufficient to perform efficiently in the field.

As we realized, only technical designing was not sufficient. People who desire to do business or who had requirement of cost based jewellery designing, knowledge we were giving was not sufficient for that. After months of exercise, calculation and teamwork we designed a method to estimate the cost of jewellery at the time of designing.

Now our students can estimate how much quantity of material will be used in the jewellery they have designed. They can design jewellery on the base of particular budget or amount.

In the diamond education we realized that to know grading system only is not sufficient to do business of diamond or jewellery. Students who had acquired excellence in grading were feeling helpless as they cannot do business in the absence of the knowledge of valuation. Continuous two year's exercise of our team, they have designed a unique valuation system of loose diamonds. Now we were ready to give the knowledge of valuation system of loose diamonds. But that was not an end.

Valuating loose diamond was enough to trade loose diamonds, but not for jewellery. Different calculations and exercise resulted in jewellery valuation system.

Our students can calculate weight of studded diamonds with the accuracy tolerance of +/-2%. They can grade studded diamonds with the accuracy of one grade in colour and clarity. They can measure proportion of studded diamonds with the accuracy of loose diamonds.

 In rough diamond our student can estimate weight of polished diamond, clarity and color.

As we realized that practical knowledge is more important than theoretical knowledge. We have reduced theory sessions from all the courses. At “Goyam” all training like diamond cutting, grading and valuation is given on the actual materials and natural diamond only. We follow one student one equipment system.

The most important thing we have applied in “Goyam” is individual training at our campus. We do not follow batch system. Because of that thing, an individual can assign his or her on learning speed as per his/her capability. Because of this system a student can achieve excellence in all the modules he/she learn.
